Charity fund raising

Jeans for Genes

On Friday October 7th, our staff all wore their jeans for work to raise money for children with genetic disorders. So far we have raised around £20 but every little helps.

Coniston Challenge

Our mission, should we choose to accept it......

Scale the 800m high Old Man of Coniston covering 5 miles in the process, bike 12 miles on forest trails, then kayak 1.2miles up Lake Coniston.

Well WE DID IT!!!! What a fantastic day! A little wet and wild and the view from the top of The Old Man of Coniston was about 2 yards! But it didnt matter at all. Congratulations to the team who did a fab job and , rumour has it, may actually have enjoyed themselves - RESULT!!! The  activity time was a very respectable 5hours and 27minutes and with stops for food and several dry clothes changes we were home and nearly dry in a total time of seven hours twenty three minutes (the fastest team in Pontefract)! Huge thanks to everyone who has sponsored us and helped us a reach a brilliant total of  £2811.41 in total, with the 45 teams who took part raised a total exceeding £104,000 altogether!

Our team before the event (you can tell, it was the only time we were all ever dry)!
